Anthony Edwards’ Emotional Words About Steph Curry

The 2025 NBA All-Star events concluded in San Francisco, with Steph Curry earning the MVP award. Beyond his on-court performance, Curry was lauded for his hospitality during the All-Star break.  

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards spoke about Curry’s graciousness during media availability. “He’s been great man. I don’t know if he did this for everybody but I’m pretty sure he did, but he had like gifts for you in the room when you walked in, he welcomed you to San Francisco,” Edwards shared. “Everybody knows how Curry is man he’s a loving person man he’s super cool, super laid back for sure.”

While Edwards isn’t always quick to offer praise, his comments about Curry seemed genuinely heartfelt.

Curry and the Warriors resume their season on Friday against the Sacramento Kings. Curry has been having a strong season, averaging 23.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.1 assists, with shooting splits of 43/39/92. He is expected to be the Warriors’ leading scorer and hopes to lead them on a playoff run. Currently the 10th seed in the Western Conference, the Warriors face a play-in tournament to secure their playoff spot.
